HOLI
Holi is the
festival of colour. People forget their enmities and celebrate this festival by
putting different colour to other people.
There is one
story related to holi. Once upon a time there is a great devote of lord Vishnu
named pralad he was the follower of lord Vishnu and it was on like his father.
His father wants his son to be follower of his. So one day Pralad father decided to teach a
lesson to his son Pralad. He called his sister Holika who has got a blessed
from lord Brahma on not dying on burning and she planned to killed Pralad by
sitting on the fire hood but the great devote of lord Vishnu Pralad was saved by lord Vishnu and Holika was
burned on due to her negative decision. So, from story we know that holi is
celebrated due to the end of devil Holika.
